You are buying the original signed painting, not a print, and there is one. Photo 1 is a room mockup: the frame and white mount shown there are not included. It ships rolled in a tube, unstretched and unframed. Photo 3 is a close detail of the signature. Colours can look slightly different on screen.
Carrying loads on the head, from water pots to the flat metal head pans used in markets and on building sites, is everyday work for women across West Africa. The artist paints it not as a hardship but as a crowd moving together, which is what the title Echoes of Community names.

An original acrylic painting of a crowd of women in brown, ochre and blue. The artist paints them working together, some carrying pots and others head pans, in an impressionistic style of loose, textured strokes. Deep browns at the left give way to yellows and whites on the right, which the artist likens to early dawn and the start of a new day. The artist gives the size as 20 x 13 inches, about 51 x 33cm, and it is signed LEXIS at the lower right. It is the first of a pair: Echoes of Community II is the same gathering in warm reds, while this one is cooler, with flashes of sky blue through the browns, so it suits a room with blue or grey in it. The canvas ships rolled in a tube, unstretched and unframed, so allow for stretching or framing. Keep it out of direct sun and dust it gently with a soft dry brush.
