Lagos
I’m Victor Ubabike, a contemporary Nigerian artist based in Lagos. I create colourful geometric expressionist paintings inspired by human connection, emotions, and everyday experiences. Working mainly with acrylic on canvas, I use bold forms, expressive figures, and layered colours to create artworks that invite viewers to see familiar stories in a new way. Each piece is thoughtfully created by hand and carries a personal sense of emotion, culture, and connection.
