Family Affair, Yellow and Blue Painting

An original acrylic painting on canvas of five figures carrying loads home. They walk in a loose line from a warm yellow glow on the left into deep blue on the right, each balancing a load on their head, the smallest of them at the far left. The whole surface is laid over with short flecks of blue, yellow, red and white, so the figures seem to move through falling light. The artist divides the canvas into light and dark as a nod to the passing of the day, and calls the piece Family Affair for the bond between people coming home together. It is signed LEXIS at the lower right and measures 20 x 13 inches (about 51 x 33cm), landscape, as given by the artist. It ships rolled in a tube, unstretched and unframed, so allow for stretching or framing when it arrives.
