Dancing in Chaos | Limited Edition Art Print, 24 x 36in

Dancing in Chaos is a 24 x 36 inch fine art print by Sara Amro, one of a limited edition of five, in deep green and yellow with two dancing figures. Two tall figures fill the centre of the picture, drawn as flat black silhouettes in flared trousers, leaning back with their arms raised towards a solid black circle where a head would be. Scribbled pen lines burst out around that circle like noise coming off it, and hand drawn music notes drift across the upper corners. A row of smaller dancers runs along the base of the picture. Look into the tangle of lines at the centre and the word CHAOS is lettered in there in capitals, almost buried by the scribbles drawn over it. That hidden word is the whole argument of the picture and most people will not spot it until they have lived with the print for a while. At 24 by 36 inches this is a large piece and it wants a wall it can own, on its own rather than in a group. The background is a soft gradient that runs from dark green at the corners to a bright yellow glow behind the dancers, so it lifts a dark or a cool coloured wall rather than disappearing into it. It is a print on paper, so it will last best out of direct sunlight and away from damp.
