Black Beaded Anklet with Metal Discs, Handmade in Kenya

A handmade beaded anklet in black glass seed beads, broken by three bands of multicolour beads, each carrying a small polished metal disc, and fastened with a clear button. The black runs in three strands that gather into the coloured bands, so the anklet lies flat against the ankle rather than rolling. The discs hang loose from small rings and catch the light as you walk. It closes by passing a clear button through a beaded loop, which is simple to do up and does not snag. The maker gives the length as 25cm. Measure round your ankle before ordering, because the button loop sets one length rather than adjusting. Made by hand in Kenya. Keep it out of the sea and the pool where you can, and wipe the discs dry to keep them bright.
