Each gown is finished by hand, so the colours of the crystal fringe and the bead placement vary slightly from the photos, and colours may look a little different on screen. Made by Bheyus Apparels in their Ibadan studio, it starts with a soft, light striped cotton blend that breathes and is easy to wear all day. Across the front sit five hand fixed panels of crystal bead fringe in black, royal blue, fuchsia pink, gold and deep purple, set to shimmer when you move. The maker uses crystal beads rather than plastic sequins. The wide sleeves are lined in deep green for a flash of contrast, and the deep front pockets take your phone or your hands. The cut is loose, with no body hugging, and falls full length at about 56 to 58 inches. Free size, fitting UK 12 to 20 (Nigerian 12 to 22). Wear it with heels for a wedding, church, a birthday or Eid, or with flats for brunch or the office. Choose your colour from the options: pink, orange, blue, green or red.
