DISMAS KAMANZI | KAMANZI ARTLIFE I am Dismas Kamanzi, professionally known as Kamanzi Artlife. I was born in Kagera Region, in the northwest of Tanzania — a region rich in tradition, rituals, and stories passed down through generations. Growing up there taught me to see beauty in culture, in everyday life, and in the emotions we carry. I inherited my talent from my mother. Art was not taught to me in a classroom; it was passed to me through blood, through her hands and her spirit. That is why I paint with feeling, not just with color. My vision is clear: *to explore the richness of African culture, lifestyle, emotions, and tradition through painting.* What makes me unique is not just what I paint, but how I see it. I do not just paint a face — I paint the pride behind it, the history in its beads, the joy, the pain, and the royalty of being African. My work bridges the past and the present, preserving who we are while showing the world who we have always been. I am Kamanzi Artlife — born in Kagera, gifted by my mother, dedicated to Africa.
